Just some links, nothing substantial by way of original thought.
Terrible, but funny in a I hope it’s a joke sort of way
Behind the Scenes of Kenny and Spenny’s Reddit AMA [Video, VICE]
Below is a video by Game Theory called
Why Call of Duty Ghosts Should Terrify You it doesn’t matter what it’s called. The video covers a particular space weapon used in a recent blockbuster first person shooter. This idea of Kinetic bombardment is really quite interesting, and I do believe the persons at Game Theory did a good job with the video.

The above web page [Atomic Rockets] is part of the website Projectrho.com, and I do not know what the hell that is haha
The website also features
Just about strange enough to like…
Back to the idea of non explosive material being propelled at such speeds that the release of energy is like that of a bomb exploding.
I cannot help but think of one of my favourite web videos, 1 million fps Slow Motion video of bullet impacts made by Werner Mehl from Kurzzeit
With a video like this, we perceive so much more than the ostensibly instantaneous moment of discharge and impact, together as one effect.
Moreover, it makes it easier to conceptualize how a mass of rock or ice or metal striking a planetary body might behave, itself becoming distorted, and the surface being greatly disturbed.
Solids acting as liquids, steel as soft and pliable; hot, sticky spinning material thrown into the air like water ejected from a puddle by the thunderous rubber boot of an oblivious toddler.
I guess that if the material is dense enough, and the mass is sufficient, then rather than heating/deforming/ejecting into pieces, the material (hitter and hitee) could vaporize, react elementally, cascade, ignite, explode into the kind of bright white light that sterilizes entire continents of life.
stares off somewhere not here
hmm? Yes. Where was I?
Of course, I am not too pleased with some alleged utterances by the beautiful Yulia Tymoshenko
So, let us not speak of nuking one another, please.
Throw sticks, toss stones, but come inside to wash your hands when you’re done. Also, be thankful that we have not yet completely ruined the world by causing entire cities to burn beneath radioactive clouds of ash, and to invite every inconvenience and consequence in between…
That got dark fast.
Well…everyone just chill the fuck out.
Sleep tight (or if you’re at an office desk @ 11:30 am, and you’ve got that Johnson report to get out, then wake the fuck up),
