Word up,
I am such a fan of Joe Rogan.
edit 20201018: I have since grown reservations about my prior wholesale support of Joe Rogan. Though I still believe him to be essentially a good person, I also believe him to be… well, given his position, his audience, etc., I really believe that he ought to properly embrace the role of the journalist, of the informed, helpful intellectual. Too often, unfortunately, Joe falls victim to conspiracy theories, right-wing talking points, and it makes me very sad. I had not given up on Joe, and I look forward to when it clicks, and he starts acting responsibly, like the badass I once thought him to be.
In my imaginary reality where I have to go to Mars University, Joe Rogan would definitely be one of my roommates, along with Carl Sagan, and Neil deGrasse Tyson.
The three of us would no doubt get up to lots of mischief, and I’d like to think we’d cover some interesting subjects, and perhaps even solve some problems.
No doubt Brian Redban would be a part of our posse, but that’s neither here nor there.
This entire opening has been a digression.
I’d here like to share an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience.
In this episode, Joe, Duncan Trussell, and Christopher Ryan discuss such things as the prison system, overpopulation, and any such number of interesting and off the wall topics.
Joe Rogan Experience #468 – Duncan Trussell, Christopher Ryan
I share this one in particular because it starts out rather disheveled, but then organically grows into something with a bit more flow. Naturally, most of the JRE is like this, but these three guys seems to have the right ratio of conflict/compliment of each others egos and worldviews.
If you have to do some busy work, perhaps let this play into your ear. Considering your alternatives, 1. listening the music you’re already a little used to, or 2. listening to talking heads speak of Eastern Ukraine or the missing Malaysian airlines flight, I’d say this is your best bet.
Bonus joke (original content – a rarity here…):
Peace (especially in Eastern Europe),
