Good Thursday folks,
I came across a TED talk last night which looks at stress not as the ‘RED ALERT’ which many of us perceive it as, but as the body preparing to give us a greater ability to cope / excel with whatever circumstances are getting us going.
Quite interesting. I view this as a sort of ‘new software’ for one’s own venture into Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. As we change the way that we perceive a biological and/or neurological function we are so affected differently. I read a short book which probably got me out of a heart attack, but at present I cannot think what the title of the book is. When I find it I will amend this post with said title.
