Spoke too soon – spike in visitors…

Just as I had finished posting my last post… which… *squints eyes* talked about a surge of visitors, I get this –

wtf, man

wtf, man

Here’s some rad tunes for the occasion

and just because these two are…

I’d party with them, but I imagine my idea as to why 9/11 can be humourous (reason = our ridiculous response of 1. war on terror, 2. surveillance state, 3. revoking of personal / civil liberties) would be different from theirs (I have no fucking idea what theirs is).

If I were dressed as the Iraq war, I’d totally party with them… see if I can get some media coverage, smoke cigars, call it a day.

edit: I should note that the above “humour” is in that a tragedy (9/11) was turned into a HYPER-TRAGEDY (Afghanistan, Iraq war, torture, spying, TSA etc. etc. etc.). We were faced with a crisis and we turned it into a joke. That’s the point I was trying to make.

I am not trying to be needlessly controversial. Rather, I just have strong feelings about the errors in leadership and the media with regard to the years following that day.

About Ossington

I often think but seldom share these thoughts. And if the product of my thinking is to affect anything but my own sense of satisfaction, then surely it must be shared. Here you may try to know what I believe to know.
