Paris is burning [excellent documentary about cross-dressers in the bronx (1980s)]

Hey all,

I watched this film last night with some academics, as part of a study on sexuality, and specifically gender. It’s an ongoing study, and as such I will probably be posting more things like this.

As noted in earlier posts, I am unabashedly heterosexual. That being said, these people are living some very interesting lives. I’d say that it would be nice to have sex with women, while also dancing around and playing dress-up like these people… but being the manly-man and refraining from such silliness is quite engrained in how I identify myself.

At any rate, give this a watch. Super interesting, and really quite entertaining.

Enjoy,

– J

About Ossington

I often think but seldom share these thoughts. And if the product of my thinking is to affect anything but my own sense of satisfaction, then surely it must be shared. Here you may try to know what I believe to know.
