In the news, bad news for some parents and children-alike… but as a whole, I believe this is a step in the right direction. French lawmakers ban child beauty contests

It’s about time. The sexualization of the stage of life where sex ought to be absent, and in its place naive frolicking… well, it’s as disgusting as it is developmentally troubling.

I am no feminist (more of a humanist) (edit:20201020 – nah, I would say that I am a feminist, insofar as a good humanist ought to be a feminist), but it has some good points.
