5:00 post – Assisted Suicide, Some Beautiful Art, and Space

Ho Reader,

To begin, here is Stephen Hawking talking about assisted suicide: We don’t let animals suffer, says Prof Stephen Hawking, as he backs assisted suicide

Coming from a man both of great worth (intellectually), and one is obviously in a less than desirable position with regard to his body.

I should like to go into further detail about this at another time. I am rather busy at work. Article is well worth the read though, as we’re all going to die… and the wealthier among us will likely be very uncomfortable toward the end of our lives, and having the choice/ability to end it on our terms may be something we will desire.

On a lighter note, check out these images from Burning Man,

Just beautiful. I love it!

Another scientific piece which i found quite interesting,

Fingers can detect even nano-wrinkles on a seemingly smooth surface: “This means that, if your finger was the size of the Earth, you could feel the difference between houses from cars”

And finally, checkout this image which depicts an asteroid, a comet (not certain on the difference right not) which came pretty close in 2003, and is forecasted to return in our near future.

Not this time, and probably not next time.

Fatal attraction

Peace out,

– J

About Ossington

I often think but seldom share these thoughts. And if the product of my thinking is to affect anything but my own sense of satisfaction, then surely it must be shared. Here you may try to know what I believe to know.
