Take it with a grain of salt, sure.
That being said, there is 99.999999% certainty that there is alien life out there. Why? Well, to another planet with life, WE are those aliens.
The more dubious claim is that we have been visited by extra terrestrials, and that they work with us presently. That latter claim is quite dubious.
Though, stranger things have proven to be true.
I remember when the Vatican came out saying that aliens are to be treated as brothers of Christ.
That really sealed the deal for me. Less of the church reaching out to extra terrestrials, more so trying not to be found with their robes down if/when aliens make themselves seen.
