Saturday will be radily-posticious

Yup.

I had a super-wicked day today. Got some gym time in, some videogame time, some cleaning time… I was a TTC athlete (sprinted from train to get the last entry onto the leaving bus). Of course, when I got to work my youtube didn’t work… that was a bit of a downer.

In the news, it looks like the British have laid a threat upon Tehran. In the event that the Iranians close the Straight of Hormuz, the British are now promising military action.

Also, the Iranians are set to begin a new military exercise in the straight, and they are calling it ‘the largest of its kind, yet’. Concurrently, the U.S. is sending thousands of troops into Israel for a joint military exercise of their own. The U.S. has also sold $30,000,000,000 worth of Jets & support stuff to UAE. Tensions are tight. Recently, the Iranians said that if the fleet returns to the straight, there will be repercussions. Just today, a vessel of the fleet did return. Apparently there was an Iranian boat that had been taken hostage by pirates and the U.S. ship came to the rescue of the Iranian sailors.

It’s a strange situation. Many signs say that it would be impossible for this situation to occur as I fear it may… at the same time, the world (whatever it actually is) has been accelerating ever faster… I worry that this impossible catastrophe (war with Iran) could, in fact, occur… and only because an insane problem (in the eyes of some) may need an insane solution.

Anyways,

I did other writing today. Some good stuff too. Alas, good stuff cannot just be thrown onto the internet for others to see. It must be chewed… Perhaps tomorrow.

About Ossington

I often think but seldom share these thoughts. And if the product of my thinking is to affect anything but my own sense of satisfaction, then surely it must be shared. Here you may try to know what I believe to know.
